EAP counselling provides employees with free, short-term counselling in a confidential and secure environment.

What does an employee assistance programme do? +

An Employee Assistance Programme is a specially designed benefit programme for employees who are facing struggles in their personal or professional lives. EAPs provides counselling, legal advice and financial guides 24/7, 365 days a year, prioritising an employee’s mental wellbeing.

What does an EAP include? +

Included within a standard EAP is access to a free counselling, legal and information line which is available 24/7, 365 days a year as well as critical incident advice, management support guides, lines and counselling. What is EAP? +

Employee Assistance Programmes commonly known as an EAP are confidential helplines that help smooth out personal and work-related problems. 85% of adults experience stress often, and a third feel under stress for a full day per week. An EAP reduces stress, boosts wellbeing, and encourages a happier, healthier workforce.

Is my call confidential? +

Calls to our helpline are entirely confidential, unless there is a risk of serious harm to you or somebody else, or where there is a legal duty for us to disclose. However, this will be discussed with you in the first instance unless that may increase the risk of harm to you or someone else. Calls with our service may be recorded and live monitored for training and quality assurance purposes, whilst respecting the confidentiality of the call.

Who will answer my query, and where are they based? +

Our call centre is open 24/7, 365, all queries are answered by highly-trained and qualified counsellors and legal advisors and pride ourselves on being always available.

Can you offer support to those who struggle with speaking English? +

For those whose first language is not English, we offer a translation option. Counsellors use qualified interpreters to give advice and support in over 200 languages.
